In a Nutshell: Businesses rely on payment processors to help them maintain positive cash flow. SeamlessChex provides innovative payment solutions that can help merchants send and receive payments quickly. The company works with merchants across various industries to minimize chargebacks and position them for success. SeamlessChex offers competitive pricing and personalized customer service to help merchants overcome challenges.

If you’ve ever dreamed of owning your own business, know that business owners often face a relentless stream of challenges. Beyond selling products or services and making a profit, if you’re a business owner you must also manage daily operations efficiently.

Payments are very important to any company’s success, and many business owners invest significant time to bring their dreams to life. Accepting various payment forms is essential to ensure you receive payment from your customers quickly.

SeamlessChex offers innovative payment processing solutions designed to help businesses grow. We spoke with Evan Albert, the CEO and Co-Founder of SeamlessChex, to discover how the company supports businesses in managing their payments effectively.

Evan Albert brings more than 15 years of experience in the merchant services industry. He told us his brother began by selling merchant services to restaurants and retail stores in Manhattan.

In 2012, they founded SeamlessChex to help businesses verify and accept ACH payments online and in stores. Since then, SeamlessChex has shifted its focus to eCommerce payment solutions.

SeamlessChex uses its expertise in the payments space and acts as trusted consultants for their clients. The company helps merchants overcome challenges and grow their businesses.

Evan told us that SeamlessChex is responds quickly to customer needs, maintaining positive relationships through regular communication and problem-solving.

“We set our clients up for success by offering both card and ACH payments with multiple sponsor banks. The key to a sustainable payment processing solution is diversification and redundancy,” Evan said. “Typically, our customers come to us with a bad taste in their mouths after their account was closed by another processor because the sponsor bank no longer wants to support their business type.”

Partnering With Merchants Seeking Robust Services

If you’re a business owner in the 21st century, you know you can’t ignore the internet. Many people, myself included, use the internet almost everyday. SeamlessChex’s Verified ACH processing platform, Paynote, enables businesses to accept and send Plaid Verified ACH payments online.

The company works with businesses of various sizes but frequently engages with merchants in certain industries or those having issues with their payment processors. Evan told us that SeamlessChex helps merchants that have outgrown their payment processor and need a partner offering more robust services.

Evan mentioned that merchants handling over $100,000 of payments per month might feel uncomfortable working with providers they don’t have a relationship with. SeamlessChex supports businesses in industries considered risky by some payment processors, including debt collection agencies, nutraceutical businesses, and telemedicine companies.

“A lot of the negative connotations around high-risk businesses are due to chargebacks,” Evan told us. “But we work with specialized verticals that need a company that understands their business and the real differences between low and high risk in the world of merchant services. Banks view any transaction where a payment card isn’t present as a risky one.”

Relationships Establish Foundations of Success

When I think of businesses I’ve supported over the years, most of them offer excellent customer service. SeamlessChex works closely with its merchants to learn about their businesses and help them reach new levels of success. The company’s flexible pricing approach is a welcome sign to merchants used to rigid processor pricing structures.

Evan told us that SeamlessChex offers competitive pricing and better terms than many competitors. More importantly, SeamlessChex prioritizes exceptional service, which speaks for itself.

Strong relationships enable SeamlessChex to retain clients and create opportunities for new merchants. Most of SeamlessChex’s clients come from referrals from satisfied customers who have succeeded with the company’s solutions and customer service.

Strong relationships help SeamlessChex retain clients and develop opportunities for new merchant customers. Most new business opportunities SeamlessChex pursues result from referrals from merchants who enjoy the company’s solutions and customer service.

“At the end of the day, we’re a relationship company,” Evan told us. “Our customers know that we’re going to prove our value to them each month to keep their business. We pride ourselves on being a referral-driven company that relies on keeping our customers happy.”

When SeamlessChex engages with new customers, they first seek to understand their business and payment processes. If SeamlessChex notices a high volume of chargebacks, they set up partner services to prevent or reduce additional chargebacks.

“A lot of times when a merchant is new, they don’t know the impacts of running up a lot of chargebacks,” Evan told us “We help them fix their sales process to avoid more trouble. We’ve had success onboarding merchants and showing them best practices we’ve seen while working in their vertical.”

Innovative Solutions Meet Customer Needs

Businesses who provide you with multiple ways to get in touch with them have an advantage over businesses that don’t. SeamlessChex communicates with its customers via phone, text messages, and online channels to troubleshoot issues and assist merchants. Evan told us that SeamlessChex prides itself on its availability, with many employees working with customers outside of the company’s normal business hours.

Unlike most processors, SeamlessChex assigns dedicated account executives to work closely with each merchant. Evan said that the company compensates their agents based on the success of the clients they serve.

“We’re directly aligned with our merchants in the sense that when they do well, we do well,” Evan told us. “Our account executives are compensated on the growth of a merchant’s account and their overall success.”

SeamlessChex wins business by providing competitive rates, exceptional service, and various payment solutions to merchants. Evan mentioned that the company has never lost a deal due to pricing.

SeamlessChex offers a comprehensive suite of payment solutions, including eCheck, Traditional ACH, Plaid-verified ACH, and Credit/Debit Card processing. The company provides these services without setup fees to different types of businesses, including logistics and shipping companies, web design and computer support services, and restaurants.

SeamlessChex provides a traditional ACH & eCheck solution that allows merchants to debit customer accounts using bank account and routing numbers. Additionally, the company’s Paynote solution allows customers to accept and send verified ACH payments using Plaid technology. Alongside these services, SeamlessChex offers robust credit and debit card processing solutions to meet the diverse payment needs of merchants.

“We offer a unique combined solution for credit card and ACH processing,” Evan told us. “Whether you’re accepting Card, ACH, or check payments, or sending or receiving money, we can support you.”
