Finance Writer
CardRates.com is seeking intelligent, hard-working individuals who are eager to learn and grow alongside an emerging content company that specializes in educating readers on all things finance.
Staff Writer job responsibilities include:
• Consistently write quality feature articles covering finance industry thought leaders and popular consumer finance products or programs
• Conduct research to produce in-depth guides on personal financing, credit cards, and other topics that promote financial literacy
• Draft social media posts as needed to promote the CardRates.com brand
This is a full-time, salaried position with the opportunity to advance to a Senior Staff Writer role after two years of strong performance.
Base compensation is $30,000 to $40,000 annually, depending on experience. When reviewing writing samples, we look for strong self-editors who not only understand the rules of grammar, spelling, and punctuation but also edit for clarity and conciseness.

Senior Finance Writer
For those with upward of seven years of editorial experience, you're invited to apply for a Senior Staff Writer position at CardRates.com. This is a full-time, salaried, in-house role for experienced copywriters with an interest in consumer finance topics.
Senior Staff Writer job responsibilities include:
• Research, plan, and produce in-depth content before going live on CardRates.com
• Participate in interviews sourcing the world's top finance experts for insights on consumer finance trends, technologies, and tips
Candidates must demonstrate an interest in financial subject matter and web-based content strategies. Once onboarded, staff writers should expect to consistently produce a minimum of five highly informative, grammatically pristine content pieces per week. Meticulous attention to factual accuracy, editorial style, and voice is required.

Senior Staff Writers who excel in this role with two years of consistently stellar performance reviews are automatically eligible for any open Managing Editor position within our team.
QA Specialist
We are now seeking a quality control expert to help ensure compliance across CardRates.com and its sister sites. This is a part-time, hourly position with the potential to advance to a full-time, salaried role.
Job responsibilities include:
• Conduct frequent site audits to reconcile partner compliance requirements with the information published on CardRates.com
• Create and maintain a site QA checklist
• Perform pre-deployment QA as we roll out new features and site updates
• Work with the development team to automate quality assurance tests
• Update site content as necessary to ensure 100% compliance with credit card issuers and third-party compliance networks
Experience with quality assurance testing tools, such as Selenium or TestComplete, is preferred but not required. We're looking for a self-motivated individual who is eager to learn and help build a robust test suite for our quickly growing websites.
The ideal applicant would demonstrate a strong work ethic and possess a high IQ and willingness to continually improve his or her craft. Managing Editor
CardRates.com is seeking a proficient copyeditor to manage the editing pipeline for in-house and/or freelance content contributors, making stronger writers in the process.
The Managing Editor role will require:
• Thorough editing skills that balance quality writing with speed of delivery
• The ability to format articles in WordPress, previewing and modifying to ensure a perfect user experience
• Experience hiring, training, and/or managing other writers or editors (strongly preferred)
Managing Editors may be assigned feature stories and/or guides to be published on CardRates.com or a sister site owned by Digital Brands, Inc.
Once onboarded, editors should expect to move 15 or more quality articles through the content pipeline on a weekly basis. Those who excel in this full-time, salaried role for two years are automatically eligible for a Senior Editor position (if available).
